What: A comprehensive learning experience designed for educators, administrators, and other K-12 education leaders. Educators who complete this learning experience may be eligible for a $200 grant.

Why: Artificial Intelligence(AI) can play an essential role in Utah K-12 schools. This program is designed to support community exploration and growth in order to empower Utah educators with the skill required to use AI tools appropriately and effectively in the classroom. As well as modernize student experiences related to digital literacy and career readiness.

How:
* Engage with the pre-work survey
* Request or attend an initial training (1-hour)
* Complete the post-work
* Design an AI infused lesson plan
* Submit your lesson materials
* Grant awarded based on funds and rubric requirements

  • Login to Canva
  • Switch which Canva team you are working in
  • Find all of your previous Canva projects and sort projects
  • Add new folders in the Projects tab
  • Import resources from other sources to Canva, including PDF’s, images, slides, etc.
  • Copy Canva projects from one team to another
  • Search and use the filters to find Canva templates to get started
  • Know how to rename your design
  • Search and filter Canva’s design elements (images, videos, audio, graphics, etc.) to add in the Canva editor
  • Basic element editing: changing hex code colors on graphics, removing the background of a photo, flipping an element, playing with layers of elements, etc.
  • Add and edit text
  • Different ways you can share/present your Canva creation
