You’ll get hands-on experience with Canva's latest features and enhancements, gain inspiration for designing your classroom environment, and share your creations and ideas with fellow attendees. Get ready to make this school year your most accessible and visually inspiring yet!
Level: Intermediate/Advanced*Please note, if you are newer to Canva, this is an Intermediate/Advanced session. If you have NOT already mastered ALL of the below skills, please attend the Canva Essential Skills 1: Kickstart creativity in the classroom with Canva session prior to attending this advanced session:
- Login to Canva
- Switch which Canva team you are working in
- Find all of your previous Canva projects and sort projects
- Add new folders in the Projects tab
- Import resources from other sources to Canva, including PDF’s, images, slides, etc.
- Copy Canva projects from one team to another
- Search and use the filters to find Canva templates to get started
- Know how to rename your design
- Search and filter Canva’s design elements (images, videos, audio, graphics, etc.) to add in the Canva editor
- Basic element editing: changing hex code colors on graphics, removing the background of a photo, flipping an element, playing with layers of elements, etc.
- Add and edit text
- Different ways you can share/present your Canva creation
