Title: Rev up the Reasoning: AI as a Critical Thinking Tool
Course Description:  In this high-speed digital age, students need to navigate an overwhelming flow of information with precision and skill. Just like a race car driver relies on a co-pilot to analyze data and make strategic decisions, students can use AI tools to refine their reasoning, evaluate sources, and strengthen their critical thinking skills. This session will explore how AI can act as a co-pilot, guiding—but not driving—their learning. Educators will leave with practical strategies and AI-powered activities to engage students in deeper inquiry and reasoning.
What Tech Tool Will Be Utilized:  Adobe Express, Adobe Firefly, SchoolAi
Instructional Strategy: Critical Thinking, Meta-cognition
What You’ll Experience:  Experience AI tools that can enhance critical thinking, and leave with strategies and tools that you can use in your classroom during your next lesson.
What Challenge You Will Do:  You will be challenged to use AI image generators to create an image based on a prompt.  Then you'll reflect on and build from your experience to help improve your prompt writing skills.
